BCM COSMETICS
Beauty Producers & School
Milan

BCM Cosmetics, together with their School and the Publishing Company, boasts a 40-year long experience in the beauty industry.

The School stretches over 1.000 square meters of office space with 22 classrooms for theoretical and practical teaching, over 50 qualified teachers and an average of 1.000 students enrolled per year. These numbers account for BCM’s leadership as the most attended beauty and makeup school in the whole of Italy. The school’s national and international prestige becomes even more evident in the student body’s composition: many of them come from outside of Lombardy, still others from foreign European, American, Asian and African countries.

In 1970, the acquired knowledge and the motivation deriving from the School led Mr. Giunta to the establishment of a new corporate division dedicated to the publication of didactic manuals for beauty schools and professionals: BCM Publisher. The editorial approach focused on health, body care, medical divulgation, customs and show business. The complete collection - 25 manuals - is currently distributed and sold by all Italian bookstores and used by most Italian beauty, makeup and hair stylist schools.

Mr. Giunta believed that avant-garde professional training needed to be supplemented with state-of-the-art working tools: for this reason, during the same year (1970), the Cosmetic Division was founded. Professional beauty specialists could now avail themselves of makeup, face and body cosmetic products and accessories, as well as a full line of equipment and furniture.
